Sleep Apnea Treatment

Millions of adults in the United States live with sleep apnea, a condition that involves frequent breathing interruptions throughout the night. Soft oral tissues in your throat can collapse onto your airway, creating a blockage that inhibits the flow of oxygen and can lead to breathing cessation.

However, with sleep apnea treatment near South Valley, we can restore your nighttime rest and breathing ability. We can provide three proven solutions for mild, moderate, or severe sleep apnea: oral appliance treatment (OAT), CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure), and combined therapy.

TMJ/TMD Treatment

Having jaw joints that function normally makes eating, speaking, and even yawning easy. However, when your TMJ (temporomandibular joints) become overworked, damaged, or strained because of stress, misalignment, or trauma, it can make normal oral movement more difficult. Pain and stiffness are often the result, which is why TMJ/TMD treatment is essential.

Not only can our team evaluate and diagnose your condition, but we’ll also provide highly effective oral appliances to ensure greater relief from jaw pain. If necessary, we can also recommend BOTOX injections to temporarily relax the facial muscles around your jaw joints.

Snoring Treatment

Snoring does not always indicate sleep apnea, and vice versa. It can still, however, be a problem that requires professional intervention. Dr. Jariwala will not only address your symptoms but also treat the underlying cause. This can include using a custom oral appliance to improve jaw positioning and prevent airway obstruction throughout the night. It might also require NightLase® Snoring Treatment, a solution that uses a light laser to tighten collagen bands in your soft palate, reducing snoring while you sleep.
